Send this info to your smart phoneJanuary 12, 2012 Two years after the earthquake and there are 100,000’s displaced Haitians still residing in tents in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. News reports indicate that there the pace of reconstruction has been very slow and that Haiti still needs your help. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE RAISE SUFFICIENT MONEY TO PURCHASE THE LAND PRIOR TO THE END OF THE MONTH. We can start clearing the land and building homes with any additional monies raised. The land we plan on purchasing is in Croix-des-Bouquets. Said land site (275 acres) is larger than needed therefore we will expand our Retail Center to include local Haitian retailers as well as US retailers (Investors); in addition, we will also include an Industrial Park. These stores and businesses will provide 1,000’s of jobs for the Haitians as well as boost the staggering economy. As President Carter noted on his recent visit to Haiti, there are few housing solutions for the poor. Our program helps fill that void particularly for those who are willing to help themselves by availing themselves of the social programs designed to give them the necessary skills to live lives somewhat void of the abject poverty previously known. This investment in human capital will prove to be immeasurable as the country moves forward and starts to prosper. In addition, we plan on building an additional 1,000 homes within the community so as to provide more homes for the poor! Due to the limited land availability and/or land issues in Haiti, we count ourselves fortunate in locating this land. Therefore, it is imperative that we act swiftly to purchase same and begin building our permanent homes for our displaced applicants. The land must be drained before we start building as well as surveyed and assessed to ensure the stability and integrity of our homes and facilities. All of which takes money…We have been self funded for almost two years; please, WE NEED YOUR HELP!! In order to attract the local Haitian retailers as well as US investors, we MUST start building immediately. Most importantly, we must move the displaced Haitians who still suffer although it has been two years since the quake. Please DONATE TODAY TO HELP US HELP HAITI!
